The Humboldt River Viewing Plaza provides a nice spot to take in the views of Winnemucca. The interpretive panels explain the usage of the Humboldt River Corridor over time.
Our new upper parking lot provides plenty of turnaround room for large vehicles and RVs.

A proclamation recognizing National Historic Preservation Month will be read at the May 21, 2024 Winnemucca City Council Meeting.
Please keep nominations in mind for the 2025 Historic Preservation Award. One deserving individual will receive the award each odd numbered year.
